In a war simulation at Camp Parks, CA on June 16, 2008, U.S. Army Reserve soldiers run through medical exercises as part of their final training prior to deployment. Within realistic tent hospitals, troops train for mass casualty situations involving severe burns, wounds, and other injuries. By using dummies, as well as soldiers role-playing as casualties, medics practice responding to different types of evolving war injuries prevalent in current Iraq battles.
