Internally Displaced People (IDPs) at the Word of Faith Church in Limuru, north of Nairobi (Kenya) where displaced people from the Kikuyu tribe sought refuge. This church and its grounds became the centre for displaced people, funded and supported by the Kenya Red Cross, local donors, the Rotary Club of Kenya and the Kenya Government. Hundreds of Kikuyus fleed their homes in other tribal regions during the post-election ethnic violence that occurred in January and February 2008, and spent 5 months in tents awaiting repatriation and relying on aid. Today they are on a bus back to Eldoret. 29 May 2008 (image by Georgina Goodwin)
