Naw was carried on his grandfather's back to the rebel army camp when he was only eight-days old after the military junta, State Peace & Development Council (SPDC) burned his village to the ground.
The SSA are one of the last ethnic minorities who still retain arms against the  regime. They are fighting for independence from Myanmar.
