"Edmonton,Alb July 12/2008- A member of the ETS Pipes and Drums band points out to a fellow band member as they get ready to parade down 1885 street for the Fort Edmonton Park and the Fort Edmonton Highland Gathering Association 19th annual Highland Gathering at Fort Edmonton Park Saturday afternoon. This celebration of Scottish culture is not to be missed! Enjoy the magnificent sounds of the piping and drumming competitions and be sure to catch the dance and the exciting heavy event demonstrations that are all a part of this great tradition! Sample haggis, play family games, and visit the merchant market to and your very own Scottish treasure. Two massed band marches, one down 1885 Street at midday, and then later to Blatchford Field Air Hangar are sure to be a highlight for visitors.
