Family photos of German repatriates from Kazakhstan. Soviet Germans were displaced to Kazakhstan and Central Asia with the breakout of WWII. In the 1990s a large number of ethnic Germans emigrated to Germany but many chose to move to Kaliningrad region of Russia.
