19 March 2009 - Kabul, Afghanistan -AK-47 and books with excerpts from the Koran lay on a table as Afghan National Army Soldiers take an oath to defend their country at a ceremony at the Kabul Military Training Center (KMTC). The 1200 soldiers have completed five weeks of training in a ten week course. 25,000 soldiers a year graduate from the program located on the outskirts of Kabul.
