Dozens of Jewish settlers went to the West Bank on Sunday with the declared aim of setting up nine new settlement outposts. Although the settlers were allowed to enter what the Israeli military had declared to be closed military zones, no outposts were set up, and there were no confrontations between settlers and police. By late afternoon, several hundred protesters were still present in two spots, police said.(
