Abu Ala presents a Polaroid photograph of himself as he looks through an old photo album at his home in the village of Za’tara. The Polaroid depicts him in his youth dressed in traditional Bedouin clothing. He was born into a Bedouin family and worked as a shepherd, before settling in the village & becoming a Palestinian policeman.
