Passing schoolgirls run for cover after being caught in a clash between the IDF and stone throwing shabab (Palestinian youths) near the Aida refugee camp. The clash began with the shabab throwing stones at an Israeli watchtower on the perimeter of Rachel’s Tomb with the IDF responding with CS gas & rubber bullets. The stone throwing started in response to the killing of civilians in IDF airstrikes on Gaza and the wounding of several demonstrators in Bethlehem several days previously.
