IVAN VILCHIS IBARRA

I was born in Mexico city and raised in Oaxaca yet my life as a visual story teller did not start until I moved to Kansas where I discovered the beauty of still photography. I was inpired by the thought of a single picture telling more than a thousand words. After two years; I moved back to my native city to study filmmaking, where was the director of photography of nearly 25 short films. Later, I enrolled in Vancouver Film School looking to improve my skills as a cinematographer. I graduated from VFS in december 2005.Now, I am working as a cinematographer in Mexico and Canada.
