About

Jake Salvador is Fine Arts graduate from University of the Philippines, Diliman and taken-up some courses in Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University. For seven years, he has been practicing his visual skills in the form of Photography and Film Documentary.

He already won awards and recognitions in Arts and Film Narrative during his younger years. Last 2008 IFRA 7th Asia Media Awards he brought home 3rd Place Best in Photojournalism Award in General News Category.

Since 2003-2009 His photographs are published to various news publications, books, magazines and corporate websites. Majority of those are published in Manila Bulletin Publishing Corp. where he worked as full-time Photojournalist for 3 years.
