I’ll be down in Nairobi for the next half of the year, does anyone have any tips or advice to give?

Heard the crime rate’s pretty high, so I’m gonna get a compact to be a little bit more discreet. As for photography, does anyone know what kind of opportunities might there be? (Other than the Safari bits)

I’m having a tad bit of difficulty deciding between getting the X100 and X10 for it. I have a 30D along with an assortment of wide/telephotos, and a holga120. Any advice on this too?
