Anyone know whats wrong with my Macbook screen? (video link)

Apologies in advance for the techy nature of this, does anyone know what might be causing the following macbook screen problem?

It flickers on and off continuously until it goes ‘off’ – though its still ‘lit’, just ‘dark’. Bizarrely; pressing f12 will momentarily bring it back to life…
