About

Jan Brykczyński, 33, is a documentary photographer based in Warsaw (PL). Jan graduated from the Faculty of Photography at the National Film School in Lodz. He also studied Social Sciences at Warsaw University and Photography at FAMU Film School in Prague. In his work he often focuses on rural regions of Eastern Europe. Jan has been awarded grants from the European Cultural Foundation, the Visegrad Fund, and the Polish Ministry of Culture among others. He is a founding partner of Sputnik Photos, an International Association of Photojournalists and he is represented worldwide by the Anzenberger Agency.
