I am a graduate student and freelance photojournalist from Los Angeles. I’m in our school’s Mass Communication M.A. program working on a documentary photography thesis project on Filipino vets of WWII that are still seeking their recognition and pensions. My media clients have included local and international press outlets including daily newspapers.

My story interests include the aspects/consequences of globalization, the Philippine diaspora, Cuba, progressive movements, not-so-progressive movements, and art/music subcultures, among many other topics. At times I shoot for community-based organizations and plan to add a more multimedia oriented service. I am also very interested in arts/photo education as well as efforts to create documentary media non-profits.
