James D. DeCamp, is a photojournalist based in Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to my years as an independent photographer, I have worked for more than two decades as a staff photographer for The Columbus Dispatch, The Lancaster Eagle-Gazette, and ThisWeek Newspapers and I was a photographer for the Zondervan “Sunday in America” project. As Media/Public Relations Director for the Columbus March for Jesus, I produced a 175% increase in attendance from the previous year.
I have photographed some of the most famous and infamous people in the world, but what I really enjoy is documenting ordinary life, from the joys of two people coming together at a wedding, to breaking news. As any good journalist knows, these stories are all around us. I look forward to working with you to tell your story.
