I’ve had the Bogen/Manfrotto entry-level tripod for years now, and I need to upgrade to something more “adult”.

Do y’all have any recommendations for a tripod/head that could be used with a modern DSLR system as well as video cameras like the XL-H1.

Relatively light would be good, but I probably won’t be climbing mountains with it. Oh, and my budget is pretty limited.

If you don’t have any specific recommendations, feel free to point me toward resources that may have reviews by/for journalists.
