Jenn Warren is a documentary photographer based in East Africa, specializing in humanitarian and development projects. Publications include BBC News, Sunday Times Magazine, Rolling Stone, AlJazeera.net, Poder and The Sun Magazine.
Clients include Population Services International, Medecins sans Frontieres, UNICEF, CARE, UNHCR, WFP/PAM, UNESCO, Amnesty International, the National Democratic Institute, ICRC, Project Concern International, SafePoint and TASC.
Jenn was featured in the Best of ASMP 2008, Alligator Juniper Photography Annual 2008, and the 2008 Center for Fine Art Photography Peace Corps Exhibition. She was awarded the 2008 Nikon Emerging Professional Scholarship to attend the Missouri Photo Workshop 60 and as a nominee in the Black & White Spider Awards Professional Photojournalism Category 2008, International Color Awards Professional Photojournalism Category 2009, and PLANET Magazine Global Travel Photo Contest 2008.
She teaches photography, and is proficient in Arabic and American Sign Language. Workshops and lectures include the Digital Photo Academy, Instituto Europeo di Design Milano, Peace Corps Jordan, International Center of Photography, Steve McCurry Workshops, Daylight Community Arts Foundation, Art Institute of Boston and Citizen Schools.
