Prior to moving to New York, I was based in Nepal for more than a decade working freelance as both a writer and film/television producer. I have been a frequent contributor to Outside Magazine and have also written for Newsweek, Marie Claire and the Los Angeles Times. I am currently working in New York as an Associate Producer at 60 Minutes.
