Joe Karandy

I’m a student at the School of Visual Arts in NYC majoring in photography. I’ve had a couple internships in photo-j one at a local paper in upstate NY and my most recent at the Village Voice.

Photo-j is a passion and I can’t imagine doing anything else. Hopefully I will be continuing with my internships at some more NYC news publications and building a great portfolio that will land me the dream job of being able to travel the world and capture some images that will have a real impact on whomever sees them.
