About
Joern Sackermann starts to take pictures at the age of 15. Already before finishing school he was assistant of various photographers and had first publications in books and photo magazines. After a traineeship at the German agency Bilderberg he started his first longer photo journey to Southeast Asia. Assignments for several publishing houses (14 book publications exclusive with his images, at countless further books he has participated) followed, as well as work for and/or publications in magazines as natur+kosmos, Merian, Bild der Wisschenschaft, TIME, Newsweek, Spiegel a.o.. The emphasis of his photography spans today from nature, journalism, travel to PR/company communication. He is represented by Bilderberg agency, Hamburg.
