John Goodman has special experience working in hostile and difficult environments, and has covered stories throughout the Middle East, Asia, and Europe for publications such as Newsweek, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Haaretz, The Christian Science Monitor, The Independent, and the International Herald Tribune.

Based out of Santa Barbara, California, John Goodman speaks a number of languages (some much better than others), and occasionally teaches Photojournalism courses to college students.

Traveling light and fast to remote destinations has gained John acclaim within the photography community, which has spotlighted John’s career in fine art galleries and in various publication.
