Md Kabirul ( Kabir) Islam lost his life to a road accident in Bangladesh three days ago. I am deeply saddened by this loss of life of a wonderful photographer , friend. Kabir was a man of integrity and keen to succeed in his craft, profession and passion as a photographer and expand his horizons. Kabir was also part of the group of photographers selected for the forth coming publication of work published through the photojournale website. I mourn for the loss of an inspiring man who introduced me to the hidden or unknown ethnography of indigenous Bangladesh and I hope the galleries and series published through photojournale serve as a virtual memorial, a lasting and public legacy he
leaves behind for us to enjoy.
