I am traveling to Santa Marta, Colombia in a few days and possibly Bogota. I would like to hear from anyone who has been in this region recently, how was your safety? I am going with about 9 people and hoping to shoot some travel/lifestyle content, but I would like to see if I should bring some of my equipment (SLR w/50mm in a small bag) or my point and shoot with slide film to keep things simple.
