About

Joseph Sywenkyj, an American documentary photographer and photojournalist, lives in Kyiv, Ukraine. He has worked throughout the former Soviet Union for numerous publications. Currently he is working on a long-term project in Ukraine about the various health crises facing the nation entitled Verses. The project has been supported by various grants including the 2002 Joop Swart World Press Photo Masterclass and a 2003 – 04 Fulbright Foreign Grant.

Recent Post

Media Accreditation Iran.

Anyone have experience with applying for a media visa and accreditation for Iran? I can’t get through to the Iranian MFA by phone and the English language version of their website is a bit vague on requirements, fee and who to send and address accreditation letter to. I also checked in with the consulate in Kyiv, but they had no info to give on media visas.
