Joshua Craze is a graduate student at the University of Amsterdam, and has just finished working for the British Institute in Eastern Africa.
He read anthropology at the University of Oxford, and was a researcher at L’Ecole des Hautes Etudes Sciences Sociales.
Mr Craze previously lived in Egypt, Sierra Leone, France, Kenya, and Tanzania. He is a contributing writer at saudidebate.com and a correspondent with africanews.com.
He is the editor of a book of essays on Saudi Arabian politics, which is forthcoming with Hurst & Co in 2008.
He has just signed the contract for his own first book, which is going to be on the idea of the border, and will be published in 2010 by Hurst.
