I was born in Warsaw, Poland and moved to Woodstock, Ontario, Canada when I was almost 15. I was in cultural shock for a long time after that. Once I came out of my shock, I discovered that I possessed the typical Eastern European gloominess that was coloured by small-town Ontario gothic sensibility and sprinkled heavily with some natural-born sense of funny. I work as a writer for living but I love taking photographs. I also love working in post-pro and discovering, every day, that I missed things that were there the whole time. That is the joy of on-going creativity.
I live in Toronto now.
Most of the subjects in my photographs are my friends and most of the concepts are mine. I would love to get more exposure and actually do some real work in my beloved medium, but I’m not quite sure where to start. I’m looking to make some connections.
