Kara Fox

I am a freelance photographer and picture editor.

Since 2004, I have worked as a picture editor at National Geographic Adventure Magazine, an assignment editor for the World Picture Network, and as a freelance photographer for various NGOs and online upstarts.

My work has brought me to China, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Burma (Myanmar), India, Nepal, and Haiti. I am currently based in Bhutan.

In Paro, I am working on a long term portrait project documenting the modernization of the isolated Himalayan nation through the country’s youth.
