Karl Blanchet is an experienced independent editorial feature photographer, member of Luna. He photographs stories all over the world. He spends many months away covering various themes in a particular country. Karl’s work is currently distributed through Rea, Contrasto and Zuma. His work has featured in good quality national and international press, magazines and NGOs’ publications.
Karl Blanchet is member of the international collective of photographers, Luna. Karl has published a monography about the patients of the psychiatric hospital of Togo. (Sommeil de pagne, Ed. Desclee de Brouwer)

Press Release: Lunatic goes multimedia
Once more, Lunatic Magazine (www.lunaticmag.com) opens new perspectives to digital media and i-photo magazines. Exploring the technological possibilities and worldwide access of a digital format, Lunatic remains also an investigation of the relationship between the subject and the photographer. Lunatic Magazine reveals the personality of the photographer, the individual hidden behind the camera, the aesthetic and the content of the image.
Lunatic goes a step further. Multimedia reportage will now be published in every issue to provide insight on the creation process of photography. Inspiring images and stories made by inspiring people. In the fifth issue, the photographer Gregoire Bernardi followed Elisabeth Blanchet in her reportage in the Moldavian region of Rumania in her search for the “children of Ceausescuâ€.
The fifth issue of Lunatic also presents new amzing documentary photography that talks about modernism, violence and ambition. A new virtual glimpse on our world presented through an innovative design.

Lunatic was created in 2007. Lunatic gives the opportunity to photographers to promote original stories and images. It also aims to provide space for creative work within photojournalism. Lunatic is bi-annual online photo magazine presenting new work from known and unknown talented photographers from all around the world.
