Hello Everyone. I am working on my MS Thesis in Photography. It’s covering the process Editors and Photographers go through to choose images for publication and any psychological ramification those images have on the viewing public, if any. I’m looking for photojournalists and editors to interview. Ideally, I’d like to be able to show images (the published images as well as the unpublished ones from the same story) to a group of viewers. So I’d like to be able to use the images, both in the study and the published thesis (with permission, of course).
I’m also searching for the exact wording of the 1991 Pentagon Policy that states no imagery of US coffins on US military transports and/or bases can be taken and published. I’ve seen people use it, but have yet to find the ACTUAL policy. Can anyone help me? Feel free to reply to me off list as well. Thanks in advance!
Please, if anyone can point me in the correct direction, and/or is willing to be a part of my thesis project, please contact me.
