Katie Rentzke

Katie Rentzke is a freelance documentary photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Ms. Rentzke was raised in Dayton,Ohio. She earned a Bachelors of Fine Art in photography from Bowling Green State University and furthered her studies by earning a Masters of Art in photography from Ohio University’s School of Visual Communication. Ms. Rentzke has a passion in covering NGO based topics. She has also combined both her passion of the NGO world and social documentary by founding and implementing a non-profit after school photography program for under privileged youth called Urban Voice Youth Photographic Project.

Ms. Rentzke is also a part time lecturer at the Cape Town School of Photography as well as a private teacher that teaches individual sessions in basic photography skills.
