Katie Lin

Katie is a Canadian freelance journalist and photographer who has contributed to several media outlets, including IPS, IRIN, The Journal, and the Sunday Sun.

Her interest in international development and humanitarian news led her to work overseas in Malawi with the Canadian organization, Journalists for Human Rights in 2011. While there, she also worked as a communications consultant for the UK-based NGO, Concern Universal.

Katie recently completed a fellowship at the Central Tibetan Administration and is currently working on various freelance projects, including a short, collaborative documentary for the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy.
