Along with working as a university photographer for both Washington and Lee University and The Virginia Military Institute I like to consider myself a professional people watcher. My greatest joy comes from capturing people doing what they love and spending time with the ones they love. My approach is quiet, respectful and unobtrusive, with the mission of telling your story through artistic, documentary photographs. I’m fascinated with all of the little things that make each person unique, as well as the big things that make us all the same. I am inspired by the stories, passions, and individual aesthetic of the people around me. I always seek to find the beauty in ordinary things and I believe that people are most beautiful when they are allowed to be natural and authentic to who they are.
