Kiyusato Museum of Photographic Arts.

Dear All,
I’m thinking about submitting a photo story on the recent ethnic problems in Kenya to the Kiyusato Museum of Photographic Arts for the Young Portfolio Section in Japan. From the 15th to the 30th of April they ask to receive work worldwide from starting photographers. If accepted they will permanently display the work in their museum. As anyone done this before? Will they accept journalistic stories or do they only want artistic pictures.
Any advice will be greatly welcome.
All the best

Hi, Siegfried.

I’ve posted regarding to Kiyosato Young Portfolio here before http://www.lightstalkers.org/young-portfolio-acquisitions-2008.
They’d accept journalistic piece, too. Unfortunately their official site has no previous collection gallery though they are very much supportive for photojournalists.

Good luck!
