I’m a self taught photographer based in Sydney, Australia and I love what I’m doing.

Photography lets me experience my life more. It makes me pay attention to the details and moments. I’m interested in visual storytelling, documenting the world around me, creative portraiture and the unnoticed.

In addition to photography, I enjoy good food, interesting people, “wow” moments, travelling (especially road trips), magazines, stirring up trouble, good music and nostalgia.

I was born in Tehran, Iran (b. 1971), grew up in Los Angeles from the age of seven and call Sydney, Australia home since 1991. I speak English, French and Farsi and have a degree in Aviation Studies.

Aperature vs Lightroom

Hi everybody!

I know this subject might have already been covered to death, but I couldn’t find any recent comparisons since all the updates to these products have come out.

Since I’m looking to start using one, I thought I might get your UPDATED opinions.

1. Aperature vs Lightroom

2. Camera’s RAW processing software vs these two.

Do you see significant differences between the way your camera’s software processes RAW, and the way one of these two packages do it? I’ve heard there are huge differences and the camera’s software does a much better job.
