I am currently based in Washington DC working on a long term project titled “Polirazzi,”. The project documents the gray area where politics and entertainment meet. Where celebrities become politicians and policy changers meeting with members of government, testifying in congressional hearings and working with NGOs to help change how the government plays ball. Where politicians become celebrities, the public no longer wants to know about their stance on government issues, but more about what they are wearing and who they are dating. In this day and age a celebrity such as Nichole Kidman have more political pull then a politician such as Sen. John Kerry?
