Better known to her friends as Lil, Kristen Elsby is a public information specialist, currently seconded to a United Nations humanitarian agency in Jordan, and an independent documentary photographer. She recently completed a Masters degree in strategic communications and also worked as a communications manager in the UN in Tokyo from 2000 to 2006.
