I am doing a work shop on behalf of Amnesty International with a group of lawyers in Cambodia. They work with providing juridical assistance to families experiencing forced evictions from the slums in Phnom Penh.
Our task is to learn from their work, but also give a training in how to get their stories in international media covering Cambodia.
We see time after time how media attention and international pressure lead to change in national governments. In order to provide the Cambodian NGO of lawyers with as good and practical tools as possible, I hope to get some advice from you. I haven’t got on-the-gound experience in accessing international media from Cambodia. Do any of you have advice, contacts I could bring into the workshop?
Please send a reply to my post or send me and email directly.
Hope to hear from you soon, as we’re starting next week.
