Kyle Macpherson

Upon graduating from the Loyalist College photojournalism program in 2003, Kyle enrolled at the University of Toronto at Scarborough (UTSC) campus where he chose to double major in English and New Media studies. While merely one academic year away from obtaining his degree, Kyle is on the brink of putting a multimedia piece together. The work entails multiculturalism and racial segregation in regards to the student identity and activity at UTSC, a campus in the suburbs of Toronto, a city debated to be one of the most multicultural cities in the world. Until then, Jamaica is his first stop of many where he is documenting as much of the island’s people and its culture, as he can.
