Lauren Hermele is a photography Fulbright Fellow and was chosen for PDN30 2012. During her time on the fellowship in Romania she worked on a series of documentary photo projects and taught photography workshops at local Universities and to teens in collaboration with the US based non-profit, “Listen to My Pictures.” She is now freelancing and teaching Digital Photography to teens at a charter school in Brooklyn.
Lauren is an ICP graduate and for the past few years she has worked on photo projects in the Republic of Georgia, Romania, New Orleans, Texas, Vermont, and Washington DC. She spent the majority of the last 10 years based in Barcelona where she worked as a translator, editor and photographer.
