Nomads Magazine is an online magazine that features images and stories, by people who live life on the run. The intention of Nomads is to allow artists to personally express their feelings and memories about the places, people and events that have touched their lives. It’s that simple, your images with your words.

You pick the destination and write an essay, diary entry, poem, or anecdote about your journey or homeland. I want the readers to feel as if they tagged along for the adventure or walked in your shoes. The images you submit do not have to be a ‘formal’ portfolio; I am open to publishing images that you love, but aren’t necessarily a linear narrative.

So feel free to submit previously unpublished work, snapshots, drawings, collages, videos and all the beautiful ‘accidents’ you have created. If you’re a writer, an illustration will be created for your text.

I only have one rule regarding submissions: no guns, war, crime, disease, drugs, famine, or the usual dark side of life that we see all too often in the media. Nomads will focus on the joy, beauty, dignity and wonder of life, travel and art.

Work published in Nomads will be accompanied by your credit, copyright notice, bio, and web link. At this point there isn’t a pay check involved, but I think it will be additional exposure for your work and a great reservoir of creative histories.
