Leica M6 flash synch question

Hi everyone,
In the spirit of the recent Leica-related questions recently, I have one of my own.

The synch speed of an M6 is 1/45. Am I locked into that speed or can I go higher to 1/60 or even 1/125?
As a comparison, my D200 has synchs from 1s to 1/250. Apples and oranges camera wise but do i have the same options with my M6?
BTW, i’ll be shooting Tri-X, and popping with pocket wizards attached to a SB800 on manual.

Thanks!

1/50 is the limit, there are a especulation about shot verticals at 1/125 but is not a practical issue. For sunny days is better use low asa films and filters as only solution to get slow speed and f numbers.

Thanks, Hernan. Im plan on shooting a roll of 125 and another of 400 to test it out. I’ll post results once theyre scanned.
