Libération .... Anybody has any Contacts/Info Please...

Hello,

I am looking for the picture editors’ contacts for the french newspaper Libération.

I know they should have 5 magazines:

1-Portrait
2-Grand Angle
3-Week End
4-Futurs
5-Nos Dossiers

In particular I would like to pitch a couple of photo essays whose subjects are social/environmental, but not so much lifestyle.

Can anybody who have confidence with this publication give me a little bit of advice of who to write to/call before I do it?

Libération does not have any regular magazine (just occasional special suplements usually related to advertizing). My understanding is that they don’t have much in the way of money, either. What you list are subject sections within the newspaper/ website. Why don’t you just telephone their reception and ask who you should speak to?

I David, right I understand. I thought they were all magazines coming out on different days with the newspapers as they are listed as Libé Mag(azines…) on the website and they have names like Portrait, Grand Angle, Week End, Futurs, Nos Dossiers. Are these the newspaper sections and not magazines in their entirety? According to what you say this is the case…

I will give them a call to just to double-check yeah.
