Lightweight multiple image viewer for OS X?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a fast image viewer for OS X? I’m looking for something like Adobe Bridge, so I can see thumbnails of all the images in a folder, but without all the bloat of Bridge. It’s just too slow to load and run when all I need is a quick look at everything, especially since I don’t use any of the metadata features.

iView…simple if that is all you need, but able to provide very complex and advanced features, the easiest way to create quicktime presentations of your work, very special contact sheets or slide shows, and the BEST story editing tool…the ability to move the order of the individual images within a catalog without renaming them is just priceless when you are ‘building up’ your story…also filing the IPTC fields of multiple files without opening them…so fast, just great and perfectly stable.
By the way, for the record, I don’t have any kind of ties or commercial agreement with them ;-)

I stopped using Extensis some time ago because I found it slower than iView and don’t like the way it creates folders. Though I am happy with iView Media Pro, I’m thinking of giving the Extensis another chance just because I hear that the metadata can be recognised cross-platform (an issue with PS CS and iView). I understand metadata is not an issue for you now, but that’s just my 2¢…

Late to the party, but CocoViewX is pretty quick and has some useful features: http://software.stalkingwolf.net/

Another photomechanic vote. It is smaller and faster than iview but, some of the DAM features of iview may make it a more attractive option at this point. I use both, PM for initial card download, iptc/kw, and cull – iview for long-term management of images.
