Help establish contacts and organise interviews, manage production logistics and arrange transportation, on-field interpreter and translate footage from Hindi to English.

Project description:

Our University (www.tuj.ac.jp) recently received an educational grant to make short documentaries on the biggest challenges faced by Asia’s fastest growing cities.

We will be coming to Delhi for two weeks in late November to film the next documentary. We will be investigating the situation of ragpickers, and the many economic, health and social challenges faced by these laborers.

We want to interview some ragpickers and their families, academics, NGO workers, and the waste management companies who are jeopardizing the livelihood of the ragpickers, as well as the countering ragpicker unions and groups.
