I am a Jamaican photographer of over 30 years currently residing in London.I have spent over 15 years travelling Europe, Africa, South America and the United States.I was a friend to the Jamaican singer Robert Nesta Marley travelling with him as the band photographer on his last tour to the United States and was with Marley in Miami when he died in 1981.I was also an associate of another Jamaican photographer, Janhoi Mwangi Jaja and together we established the Diplomat photo studio in Kingston, which in the late 70s, was the most well known photographic studio in Jamaica.After my return to England, I worked as the picture editor for the Caribbean Times newspaper, the oldest black newspaper in the UK.I taught photography on one of the largest housing estates in the UK, the Broadwater Farm Estates and during the past 7 years I have taken a sabatical and am now preparing to to go to Kabul in March 2008.
