ABOUT LIVIA CORONA:

LIVIA CORONA IS BASED IN MEXICO AND NEW YORK CITY. SHE HOLDS A FINE ARTS DEGREE FROM ART CENTER COLLEGE OF DESIGN. SHE IS A FREQUENT CONTRIBUTOR TO DOMUS, CONDE NAST PORTFOLIO, TIME, W, T-NEW YORK TIMES MAGAZINE, AND OTHER PERIODICALS.

• Agfa International Prize for Photojournalism
• BMW Inziniere World prize for young photographers.

Advertising campaigns include DELL, MTV, BMW, Xlarge clothing, and Nextel. She has been featured by Photo District News as a “PDN 30” and PDN’s 2006 photo annual.
In 2006 her work will be featured in the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival as part of the 2007 New Photographer Showcase and Visa pour límage photojournalism festival in Perpignan.
Her nine-year travels with the “Enanitos Toreros de Mexico”, performers famous throughout Mexico for their mock bullfights and dance revues, is to be published as a book spring of 2007 through powerHouse books.
