London - worth seeing exhibitions

Hello! On friday I will be in London for a week, i am planing to shoot and I would like to see also some good photo exhibitions. Do you know some galleries or museums where i should definately go? Is something interesting and worth seeing next week?

i can’t tell you specifically what is happening at the moment,but the photographers gallery often has interesting shows,and a great archive of prints.
although not specifically geared to photography,but full of great images,the national portrait gallery is fantastic.

maybe not the best time to hit london in terms of photo shows, but there’s still some good stuff out there: rodchenko opened at the hayward gallery last week, deutsche borse photo prize show is at photographer’s gallery, simon lee gallery shows larry clark’s LA 2003-06 and national portrait gallery has got photographic portrait prize and vanity fair portraits. aaron hobson opens at tenderpixel this coming weekend and poppy de villeneuve’s work can be seen at paradise row. have fun.
