looking for a tax guy in new york
can anyone in new york recommend a good accountant? i am up to my eyeballs in receipts and little slips of paper and am looking for someone who specializes in taxes for us freelancers. many thanks.

can someone explain to me what the deal is with saving receipts and what not for taxes? Ive never saved any and infact I havent paid my taxes in the past two years because ive been busy but one day i probably should, and if keeping things saves me money, well, then ill start. I also need to find an accountant who can deduct what portion of my taxes will go towards military expenditures and give it to one of the approved charity organizations, i think thats important

Unless you enjoy minimum security prison I’d suggest that you visit your friendly neighborhood accountant and have him straighten things out for you.
