Looking for Print (or digital files) donations

On April 26th I’ll be holding a fundraiser here in Seattle for the Tiny Toones break dancing group in Cambodia, started by Tuy Sobil, aka. KK. For those familiar with my work, KK is one of thee Cambodian deportees from California who I have photographed as part of my extended, 15 year project on Cambodian gangs in the US ( http://isett.com/lostboyz.mov ). KK started the Tiny Toones NGO in 2006 and uses break dancing to educate street kids and at-risk kids in Phnom Penh about HIV and drug abuse as well as provide a safe and positive environment for young kids in Cambodia.

As part of the event we will be selling off prints donated by photographers. We are trying to keep the price between $50 – $250 but will let photographer’s set their own price. Any unsold prints will be auctioned off on E-Bay after the event and all proceeds will go to Tiny Toones. Our goal is to raise $5000 for Tiny Toones, with part of the funds supporting the group’s general fund, part of the money going to buy them a mini-van to get kids to classes and dance events for more fundraising.

If you have a photo print you would like to send, please mail to me ASAP to the address below. Prints do not need to be matted or framed, and will be displayed in archival plastic sleeves. You can also email me digital files which I will print professionally here in Seattle. Those files can be sent to stuart@isett.com

David,

As large a file as you can send, (saved as a jpeg). Subject’s up to you but these rare being sold to non-photographers. I’d love to get something you’ve done in Asia. I’m printing on 13×19 paper.

Cheers,

Stuart

Hi Stuart, I am in Luanda at the moment, but I will be back in South Africa on Monday. If this is not too late you can have any of the images, number 6 won at world press 2005, if that makes any difference… Have a look here and let me know http://www.zreportage.com/TWO_STEP/index.shtml

Let me know what specs you require.
